Today marks the day we transitioned from Daylight Saving Time (DST) to Standard time. That is, at 0200am on the morning of November 2021, all time zones in the United States fall back at hour to Standard Time, or reset their clocks back one hour except Arizona and Hawaii. Now, there seems to be much debate about which time we should follow.
In times past, the celestial objects in the sky determined the time. When the Sun rose in the morning it was time to get up and go about ones business, hunt, fish, handle the animals, and when the sunset in the cool of the evening, it was time for relaxation and sleep. Many moons have gone by since we used the great clock in the sky. Accuracy was not important in the old days, for life flowed like a spiritual river with the rhythm of the clocks rotation (Earth). Then, No one could travel fast enough to make a difference. It took days if not many moons to transverse the terrain. Once in the local area the clock was set by the rising of the Sun. Everyone knew what time it was by the eternal clock.
What happened to this virtuous woman? The railroad! With the advent of the fast-moving locomotive, the need for speed, required a greater accuracy for the organization of the rail system to profit. People had to know what time the train was going to arrive and depart for this new "time travel" system to emerge. The train went faster than the old clock could monitor. So, with the railroad came a new set of time standards. Also, to keep the trains from colliding, the railroads had to develop accurate time measurements. The watches made to this new standard time keeping were known as "railroad grade" watches. Then, the railroads Federalized time keeping by hiring Webb C. Ball, who was a watch maker from Ohio, to establish a Universal Co-ordinated Time (UTC) standard for the Railroad industry in the 1890's. Thus, the old days were gone with the wind and man controlled the time.
The Federal government nor did the states get involved in the time problem until 1918 when Northern Democrat US President Wilson signed into law the Standard Time Act. He called it "Fast time" because time is readjusted one hour ahead of Railroad Standard time, during WW1. But today we call "Fast time" DST. This was the beginning of Americans reach into the global market place. A Pittsburg industrialist name Robert Garland produced the idea he learned from England. It was repelled 18 months later. In 1942 Northern Democratic President Roosevelt called it "war time" and it lasted from 1942 to 1945. In 1966 Southern Democratic President Johnson signed into law the current Federal time policy known as the the Uniform Time Act1. Following that Republican President GW Bush signed into law the Energy Policy of 2005 which extended the changeover dates to allow DST to continue a few extra months. Today, that is the current paradigme.
Today, many are inconvenienced by the twice a year time changing issue. Everyone goes through a week of "time confusion" after the time change event. People want one time year-round. But the argument is where is the reference point, and everyone who is anyone, wants to get their name on the wall.
The Federal government created DST in the quest for global expansion. The argument of DST verses Standard time was introduced using incrementalism. The idea of an overlording entity exercising control over the time keeping sounds satanic! However, since 2005, of the 50 US States, 350 bills have been introduced regarding permanent Standard time or permanent DST. Florida, under Republican Governor Scott, now US Senator, signed into law HB 1013 — Daylight Saving Time4 for permanent DST upon Federal clearance 😞. Luckly, the current Federal law prohibits states from observing permanent DST 😊. In addition, Senator Rubio has introduced, several times, legislation into the US Senate to make DST permanent. Republican Senator Rubio did not do his research. In 1973 Republican President Nixon tried to do the same thing, and it was a disaster. Thankfully, the bill does not get much traction. Permanent DST is globalist marker signifying the New World Order.
In addition, the battlelines regarding Standard vs DST seem to be non-traditional although the debate is becoming more politized quickly.
The following states have secretly enacted legislation for permanent DST pending Federal approval. GOD FORBID THIS HAPPENS!
Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana (2021), Idaho, Louisiana, Ohio (resolution), South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Arkansas, Delaware, Maine, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, Florida
The remaining states have chosen to remain on Standard Time.
