THE SELECTIVE SERVICE

The selective service or draft is a government institution established to force place eligible members of the population into military service [1] . The United States first instituted military conscription during the American Civil War. As the Civil War entered its third season, Congress, in need of more manpower for the Union Army, passed the Civil War Military Draft Act of 1863 [2]. Conversely, the newly formed nation of the Confederacy States of America was an all-volunteer force. There was a saying in the Northeast during the civil war that it was “a rich man's war and a poor man's fight." The act of conscription was started and stopped several times until the 1940’s. The New York democrat, President Franklin Roosevelt, initiated the first peace time draft by signing the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940, two years prior to the bombing of the US Naval Installation Pearl Harbor, HI, which established the first peace time Selective Service System. During the Vietnam era the early draft process from 1964 to 1969 was viewed as unequal because the working-class man's only choice was to go to war, while the wealthy men would go to college, enlist in the National Guard, or for northeastern medical elitist like Dr. Fauci join the National Institute of Health3 . On December 1, 1969, New York Republican Congressman Alexander Pirnie picked the first lottery number out of a large glass container to start the reconfigured draft process for the Vietnam war of men from the age 18 to 26. American forces in Vietnam included twenty-five percent poor, fifty-five percent working-class, twenty percent middle-class men, but very few came from upper-classes families. The draft was abolished in the late 1970’s but was reinstated in 1980. Currently, all males from the age of 18 to 26 must register for the selective service to include “illegal immigrants” or they will be excluded from Federal benefit and even drivers' licenses [1].

These experimental vaccines were given to over a half-million US soldiers. In the 1950’s a former US Marine intelligence officer turned US senator Joeseph Mcarthy launched a campaign to root out communist resulting in the House Committee on Un-American Activities. Communist were compromising freedom through ideological manipulation. US Senator Joeseph McCarthy even accused the CIA director of using homosexuality to blackmail Politicians into communism, Then, in the 1960’s came Vietnam. The communist insurgents were overtaking various small counties to gain ground and rule the world. The Domino Theory [15].

Tie It Together

From the back drop of yesteryear we see the threat of communism was no different than the threat of the Corona Virus with the COVID-19 pandemic today. Yet, the Yellow Berets decided on their own accord the government initiative was not worthy of their patriotism or loyalty. They decided since the cause was detrimental to their personal future goals, the Yellow Beret’s would not fight against the virus of communism. Remember Former President George W. Many today are not online with the government’s drive to vaccinate. Fact is President Trump didn’t receive the mRNA Vaccine. He received a very expensive anti body treatment. Not sure if anyone is willing to do that either. The point is he promoted the mRNA vaccine but never got the mRNA injection. He got a “rich man's treatment not a poor man's shot”. After all, If the US Presidents did not trust the government in the 1960’s why should we trust the government in 2021?Do as they did, not as they say!
