Speaker of the House : The New Beginning

Just recently Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz made a Patrick Henry speech on the house floor that awoke the populace from the doldrums of the current do nothing Republican control of the United States House of Representatives.

For those who do not remember, Matt Gaetz was a lone hold out, during the election, against the current Republican, Speaker of the House, Congressman Kevin McCarthy from California. It took an exhaustive 15 rounds of election, do overs, before a agreement was made between the Matt Gaetz faction, and the Kevin McCarthy Loyalist. In order for the Republicans to gel behind Congressman McCarthy some concessions were made between the two parties. Now, congressmen Gaetz is calling congressmen McCarthy out because of in action on the Speaker's part.

Does Matt Gaetz have his eye on the throne ? Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is currently running for the Unites States Presidency. If Governor DeSanits was to win the prize, then a Matt Gaetz speaker-ship would be icing on the cake. We would witness a total rebuild of the country from the laid back California mentality over the last 80 years. Let us face it. Congressman Kevin McCarthy may be a Republican, but he is still from California.

Congressmen Gaetz father, Don Gaetz, was a member of the Florida Senate for 10 years (2006 to 2016), and was the President of the Florida Senate from 2012 to 2014.
