Brian c Kohberger the now confessed killer, of the quadruple homicide that occurred at the University of Idaho on 13 November 2022 finally spoke in today's hearing regarding a plea agreement between Mr. Kohlberger's defense counsel and the State of Idaho. Mr.Kohlberger had maintained his silence from day one. When appearing before Idaho State Judge, John Judge, after his arrest in Pennsylvania and relocation to Moscow, Idaho, Mr, Kohlberger did not enter a plea and the judge entered a plea of not guilty for him. This was the first time Mr. Kohberger spoke in court. Mister koberger's voice was even tone and sounding somewhat coarse. He did not sound afraid due to the gravity of the moment. In the beginning, Mr. Kohlberger, began to stand up when addressing Judge Hipler, Judge Hipler. Thanked Mr. Kohlberger, for showing due respect to the court, and asked him or advised him, or told him he no longer had to stand up to answer questions, he could stay in his seat. The hearing lasted an hour. The hearing proceeded very methodically, as if it had been prescripted. Judge Hipler addressed Mr. Kohberger regarding several of the counts. Mr.kohberger responded with yes, and guilty. Mister kohlberger never addressed why he committed the crimes, where the weapon was deposited, or any of the details regarding the incident. The lead attorney for the state, Bill Thompson, read a detailed probability statement of how they believed, that is the State of Idaho, the crime took place. Judge Hipler set the sentencing date for July twenty third at nine a m mountain time. He set aside the entire day and the following day for victim impact statements and other dialogue during the hearing. Many people have questioned state attorney Bill Thompson. Regarding his acceptance and crafting of the plea agreement. Many believe, State Attorney Bill Thompson, did not make this decision alone, but with consultation from his entire staff.
During the hearing, State Attorney Bill Thompson, pointed out, that Mr. Kohlberger purchased the K-bar knife in March of two thousand and twenty two, eight months prior to the crime. He had not yet graduated from the DeSales University master's program, nor had he been accepted to Washington State University doctoral program at this time. Were the seeds of murder, germinating and Mr. Kohberger's mind at this time, or was this just a random purchase of a knife. Certainly, Mr. Kohberger could not have foreseen targeting Madison Mogen at this time, or any of the other victims. In addition, State Attorney Bill Thompson
pointed out that Mr. Kohberger, searched Amazon for a new knife, a new K-bar knife, after the crime. Of course, everyone in america was researching K-bar knives. Was Mr. Kohberger, looking for a replacement knife, or was he going to kill again? What if Mr Kohberger was to say at a later date, I hide the knife in the house? now, that would be a real dilemma, would it not? as Mr. Kohberger's life bleeds out day-by-day in a prison cell. Maybe he will soften up. We will get the answers to these questions.
