Shocking turn events, Brian c kohberger the alleged killer, 4 Idaho college students in November of 2022, is to plead guilty in court tomorrow, July 2nd 2025, at 11 pm mountain standard time, in front of the Honorable Judge Stephen Hipler, in exchange for removal of the death penalty. This is an absolute unexpected turn events, for the trial was scheduled to begin August eighteenth two thousand twenty five in Boise, Idaho. The victims' families and the public have endured 2 years of brutal filings and crossfilings, and since the trial was under a gag order, unbelievable speculation by the general public as to what happened or what is happening, leading up to this trial, or should we say would have been trial? The nation was gripped in horror by this incident. Many legal pundits across the internet, have stated that this plea bargain agreement is a logical conclusion, that life in prison under austere conditions is far more torturous, then instant death by firing squad. Which is the preferred way of judicial homicide in the State of Idaho. However, the Goncalves family, who has been the more outspoken of the victims' families, has publicly stated they were somewhat blindsided. They have referred to the plea bargain agreement as a secret deal in the dark of the night behind closed doors. That they were sent a letter from the prosecuting attorney's office of Idaho via an email that the prosecution had reached an agreement. Goncalves family believes, Mr. Kohberger should get death my firing squad. On the other hand, other members of the victims' families have expressed satisfaction with the plea bargain agreement and look to maintain closure of this horrible incident. There is an outside chance. That Judge Hipler could deny the plea bargain agreement and demand that the court proceed with a trial. But, this course of action is highly unexpected. Certainly, everyone will agree, this has been an unexpected change of events.

Brian c kohlberger, the now flagged killer, has maintained a stoic demeanor of silence. However, regardless of his pleading, many questions still remain unanswered. Did Mr. Kohlberger act alone? We must consider the fact the DNA from 3 different people was found under the fingernails of Madison Mogan. Not one of those DNA samples matched Mr Kohberger. In addition, blood samples, we're found inside the home. And, on gloves and other equipment which did not match Mr. Kohberger, which leaves the door open to the question. Were there accomplices involved? Furthermore, upon Mr. Kohlberger's capture, he made an excited utterance. He said, am I the only one? Without a trial we will never know. Was he part of a greater conspiracy? The fact that Idaho’s former U.S. attorney, a former president Joe Biden appointee Jshua D. Hurwit joined the prosecution team symbolizes a far greater conspiracy involving an Idaho prison gang, known as the Aryan knights. During Mr Hurwit's tenure, as US federal prosecutor. he orchestrated a tireless effort to hound the Aryan Knights prison gang under the u s federal rico statutes. Does Mr Hurwit's position at the prosecution table send a clear message Of possible Aryan knight drug involvement? Without a trial we will never know. Certainly. The defense team and the prosecution team have jockeyed for position throughout this entire process to bring us all to this culminating moment. Without a doubt, the prosecution must realize that A trial is not a guarantee, however, his admission of guilt, we'll imprison him for the rest of his life, Without exception. Due to the insurmountable, evidence stacking up against Mr Kohberger the defense team had no other options but to ask for the best possible terms for their client. A guilty confession by Mr. Kohberger, closes the book on this horrific event. However many questions still remain.
