Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. who held the WBC middleweight championship title from 2011 to 2012, and is the son of the more famous Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. was arrested July 2, 2025 for deportation. Evidently, he was riding a scooter in front of his up scale home, in Studio Hills, California, when dozen ICE agents moved in and captured the younger Julio Chavez (39). He appears to have had a criminal record dating back more than a decade. He has been classified as a "threat to public safety" by U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has been flagged for expedited removal. Mr. Chavez's attorney, Michael Goldstein, has disclosed that mister Chavez last known whereabouts, was Hidalgo, Texas in the custody of DHS.

Chávez had been convicted of driving while intoxicated in California in 2012 and January 2024. Also, on 7 January of 2024 Mr. Chavez was arrested by the Los Angeles police department on weapons charges. He was "convicted" of carrying an assault weapon, and manufacturing and importation of a short-barreled rifle. According to mister Chavez's attorney Michael Goldstein, Mr Chavez was to appear in court monday, July 7th 2025. But he failed a show, and his whereabouts is unknown. Mr.Chavez has a criminal record dating back more than a decade.

On August 23rd 2023, Mr. Chavez crossed the border into the United states legally on a B2 tourist visa. His visa expired on February 2024. On April 2, 2024, Chavez filed application for lawful Permanent Resident status after he "married a US citizen" connected to Joaquin Guzman, the infamous Sinaloa cartel drug kingpin. The DHS claims Mr. Chavez made several false statements on his application. On part 9 of form I - 485 which is the permanent resident alien application, The applicant must answer questions regarding criminal background to include human trafficking related incidences. This is most likely where he made his false statements.. In addition to being convicted on gun charges in the United States, Mr. Chavez has an outstanding arrest warrant in Mexico for his involvement in organized crime and trafficking firearms, ammunition, and explosives. Under the Trump administration, the Sinaloa cartel has been designated a Transnational Criminal Organization.

Dispite the 10 year criminial history, an expired visa, and lying on a peremenant resident alien form ( green card) , an outstanding arrest warrant in Mexico for trafficking, firearms ammunitions and explosives, a current "conviction" in the United States for assault, weapons, trafficking and manufacturing, he was able to cross from Mexico to the United States during the Joe Biden Presidency. In December 2024, immigration services, under the Joe Biden administration, flagged that Chavez was an "egregious public safety threat". Overlooking multiple counts of weapons charges in the United States and Mexico, and the advice of President Biden's own immigration bureaucracy, the democrat political machine allowed him to enter the country on January 4th of 2025 at the San Ysidro crossing This was a democratic political machine that was promoting house to house gun confiscation by federal agents on ordinary americans. The democratic political machine publicly stated that ordinary americans didn't need AR-15s. Apparently the democratic political faction did not have the same feeling for foreign nationals.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr was born in the Sinaloa capital city, of Culiacán. He has been fingered as a Sinaloa cartel enforcer. Although his father and family deny these accusations. As the story is told Sinaloa cartel operatives would string up their adversaries by their feet and leave them hanging like meat? Then Mr. Chavez would pound on them like a punching bag with boxing fury. It is also alleged, that Mr. Chavez would use his boxing talents to punish Sinaloa, cartel subordinates who didn't quite live up to expectations. "Nothing like a good side hustle."

This was an isolated case that never made the main stream headlines. But, many cases like it have existed for decades. It illustrates how a political dynamic at one end of the spectrum, would dictate a war on drugs and a massive gun suppression policy, going so far as to threaten house to house gun confiscation by armed federal agents on ordinary citizens of the United States. Yet, turn around in allow various foreign nationals across the borders of the country, unharmed, undeturred, under the full light of government.
